The Academy for Mathematics & Science is the math tutoring specialist in Calgary, Edmonton and Fort McMurray. We offer a wide range of summer camps for Math, English, or Science to young students.

Summer Camp Programs

Preparation is the key to success and school is no exception. If your child wishes to do better in school next year, consider enrolling them in one of our summer camps to get a head start on success!

Lil Learners – Ages 4 to 6

This special program offers younger students an exciting introduction to Reading and Math. An emphasis is placed on story and problem solving with all students working to their level. A typical day will also include circle time, individual writing, activities and crafts, snack time, and story time & book talk.

Fun to Learn

This camp offers students entering Grades 2 through 6 a great opportunity to have fun and sharpen their Math and Language Arts skills. Fun educational games and hands on activities and experiments are also incorporated into this program.

Junior High Building Blocks

This program provides students entering Grade 7, 8 and 9 a chance to strengthen Math, Language Arts and Science skills. Students will also be introduced to concepts they will cover in the upcoming year. Areas of emphasis will be based on the individual students.

Grade 10 Math Boot Camp

This program is designed to review key building blocks, build a strong foundation and provide a solid overview for students entering Math 10-C.

Grade 11 & 12 Prep

Build a strong foundation and sharpen skills to get a head start in Math, Physics and/or Chemistry. For students taking any or all three subjects in the upcoming school year.

Essay Writing Workshop

This workshop is ideal for students who have had difficulty composing essays or wish to strengthen their writing skills. Students will work through outlines, thesis statements, and proper sentence, paragraph and essay structure. Students will complete one essay during the week. (For students entering Grade 9 or higher in September.)
